Learn More →The mission and work of IAFR flows out of our faith in Jesus Christ — who taught us that the greatest commandments are to love God and to love our neighbour.
All people are image bearers of God. We are committed to living and working in ways that reflect the value of each human being.
Prayer forms us in the ways of Jesus, connects us to the Spirit's movement, and directs how we partner with God in the world.
Acknowledging that our Triune God exists as relationship, we prioritize relationship in all that we do.
We nurture connections and partnerships that lead to practical cooperation and shared mission.
We are transformed by the generous mutuality of both welcoming and being welcomed by displaced people.
We advocate for the vulnerable and work towards social systems that root out oppression — longing for a world where all people flourish together.
